Easy Chew Foods

Some dental procedures may leave teeth and gums tender, during a certain phase or
healing time.  Whether there has been an oral surgery, temporary crowns, or tenderness
due to tooth movement (orthodontics).

We still should be able to eat delicious food in the meantime!  Please try and enjoy some
of these easy-chew classics.

Mom's Mac 'n' Cheese Recipe

Mom's Mac 'n' Cheese


  • 1 (16) ounce pkg of macaroni
  • 1 (10.75) ounce) can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 1 lb Shredded Colby Cheese


Preheat oven to 350F (175C), Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to boil.  Add pasta and cook 8-10 mins, drain.  Place macaroni in a 2 qrt. casserole dish.  Stir in cheese soup and milk until well combined. Sprinkle with shredded Colby until covered.  Bake 25-30 mins, or until cheese is brown and bubbly.

Very little chewing required!  Enjoy this easy, soft meal!

Sweet Patatoe Chipotle Soup

Sweet Potatoe & Chipotle Soup


  • 2 - 3 Large Sweet Potatoes
  • 2 Scallions
  • 3 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 - 2 Chipotle Peppers (canned in Adobo sauce)
  • Sour Cream


Peel and cube potatoes, peel and halve scallions, peel garlic cloves.  Drizzle Olive oil over all of the vegetables.  Roast the vegetables for 40 mins or until fork tender.  After vegetables are roasted, place them in a stock pot and cover with chicken broth.  Simmer broth and vegetables for approximately 30 minutes.  Add chipotle peppers and then puree the mixture.   You can also add sour cream or milk to thin down the soup.
